What is SSC CGL 2026?
The Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) 2026 is one of India's most competitive government recruitment exams. It selects candidates for Group B and Group C posts across central government ministries, departments, and organizations. Every year, lakhs of graduates compete for approximately 17,000–20,000+ vacancies across coveted posts like Inspector of Income Tax, Assistant Section Officer, Sub-Inspector CBI, Junior Statistical Officer, and many more.
SSC CGL 2026 follows a two-tier examination process: Tier-I (qualifying) and Tier-II (merit-determining). The final selection ranking is based entirely on Tier-II performance, making it the most critical stage of preparation.
